Date British Guys are delighted to announce that another couple who met through our website are now happily engaged to each other!

Heath, who is from Richmond, UK, first started messaging Michelle, who is from Chicago, in December 2015. He sent her a cheeky wink, and the pair started to chat. They soon realised that they have a lot in common with each other, and so they decided to meet in London during April 2016.

Both Heath and Michelle were slightly nervous to meet each other in person for the first time, but they hit it off right away! Michelle said; “We both had a great time in London, and we felt very comfortable with each other from the start.”

“I would have to say the one thing that really attracted us to each other was our senses of humor. I have been told Americans are thought not to have much of a sense of humor but I’m happy to report I managed to surprise a few Brits!”

Sadly the trip had to end and Michelle went back to America, but over the next year the pair took turns to travel back and forth to see each other. During this time the relationship blossomed, and the pair became engaged on August 30th 2016!

Michelle went on to say; “I would like to thank you for your website and creating an opportunity for me to meet such a fantastic person.” It is our pleasure, Michelle!
