Jack and Meghan met on our dating a few years ago, and now the pair are married. We got in touch with them to find out more about their love story and future plans…

 

Congratulations! When did you first start talking?

Jack; “I first started talking to Megan in January 2018.”

 

When did you first meet?

Meghan; “We first met in person on September 6th, 2018 in San Diego, California. We communicated each day for seven months and then Jack flew out to see me.”

 

What do you love about each other?

Jack; “What I love most about her is how full of love she is. From me to her family, pets and friends, I am amazed how fiercely she can love. It is truly amazing, and to be loved like that is incredible.”

Meghan; “I love everything about Jack- even the little things that can drive me crazy! He is the kindest man I know, and he truly has a heart of gold. We hit it off immediately and as strange as it sounds (being physically so far apart) I had never felt so connected to someone. I fell in love with his sense of humor, his intellect, and his sweet spirit.”

“I actually knew I was in love with him when I was getting ready one morning and without saying anything- he brought me a cup of tea and dry cereal (I don’t drink milk). It seems so simple but that was really it; I knew at that point that I had found a keeper.”

 

 

What are your plans for the future?

Meghan; “Our plans for the future are to start a family and just continue creating a life together filled with love!”

Jack; “Our plans for the future are to make lots of babies together, raise a family and enjoy and cherish every moment we have together. And for me, it’s to try my best not to mess it up.”

 

What is your favorite memory together?

Meghan; “This is a tough one. If I had to choose one, I’d say when we were in Boston together- early on in the relationship. It was our second time meeting. We sat down at a tiny café, and we just had a simple breakfast. But as we were talking, I just couldn’t stop smiling- I loved that man and I had never been happier. I know that may sound over-the-top, but it’s true.”

Jack; “My favourite memory of us together was Megan flying out to England to join me on the cruise ship I was working on for nine days of pure bliss.”

 

 

Do you have any advice for singles on DBG?

Jack; “My best advice for singles on DBG is, once you’ve messaged someone for a little while face time them. If he/she’s the one, you’ll know. I can’t explain it but it just clicks. And good luck!”

Meghan; “I’m certainly not an expert at online dating, just someone who became incredibly lucky. I suppose my advice would be this- go into it, knowing what you value and what you want. I value family above anything else and met Jack when I was 29 years old. I was at the point in my life where I wanted a life partner; someone to have a family with and grow old with.”
