How To Choose Between Two People

How To Choose Between Two People

Are you stuck in a love triangle? Are you interested in two people, unable to decide which person is best for you?

If so, we are here to help. It can be very difficult to choose between two people, especially if you know someone will end up getting hurt – but if you want to find true love, you should deal with the situation and make a decision.

Here are five tips to help you choose between two people.

1. How To Choose Between Two People: Compare The Two

Start by making a comparison between the two people. Write down all of the things you like about each person, and then write a second list with the things you don’t like about them. This will allow you to visually see the dissimilarities between the two people so it will be easier to work out who makes you happier. You may also notice that one person has a trait that you consider to be a ‘deal-breaker’; if this happens, dismiss the person immediately!

2. Think About What You Want

Take some time to think about what you want in a relationship. What are your values? What are your beliefs? How do you imagine your life in the future? Ideally the person that you choose will have similar values to you, as this means you are more likely to find long-term happiness with each other.

3. Talk To Your Friends

Sit down with a good friend and ask them what they think. They may have a fresh perspective for you that you hadn’t already considered, so you will find it easier to make an educated decision. After all, our friends often know us better than we know ourselves!

4. Trust Your Gut

When it comes to making big decisions, you should always trust your gut. Of course logic and reason are also important, but love is not always logical. If you truly know one person is the right person for you, you don’t need to ask your friends or write lists; deep down, you already know what you want to do.

What To Do If You Still Can’t Choose Between Two People

If you have tried everything on this list and you still don’t know what to do, consider flipping a coin. Set each person as one side of the coin and then flip it. When the coin lands you will either be happy with the decision, which means that the coin landed on the right person, or you will be unhappy with the decision, which means the other person is the best option for you. This might seem too simple to be true, but it seems that it does actually work!
