Signs Your Online Date Likes You

Signs Your Online Date Likes You

There are tens of millions of people using dating websites across the world, so there is certainly someone out there who is perfect for you. However it can be difficult to tell if the person you are talking to likes you, especially if most of your conversations happen over text!

If this sounds familiar to you, here are a few signs that your online date likes you.

1. They Reply To Your Messages

It may seem like an obvious point, but it is true; if your crush likes you back, they will reply to all of your messages. Sure, sometimes it may take them a few hours to reply, but if you constantly find that you are double messaging them to get a response it probably means that they aren’t interested in you in that way. After all, it only takes a few minutes to send a message, and when someone likes someone else it is very unlikely that they will forget to message them for days at a time!

2. You Talk About Future Dates

Another good indicator that your crush likes you back is if they talk to you about future dates. Recent research found that 77% of people in relationships planned the second date during the first date, so if you are talking about the future with each other it is a good sign that you will end up in a relationship!

3. They Send The Right Signals In Their Messages

If your crush really likes you they will make sure that they send all of the right signals in their messages. From sending flirty texts to tagging you in pictures that make you laugh, they will go out of their way to let you know that they are thinking about you. They will also avoid saying anything too ambiguous, such as “I was out with a girl last night”; instead they will say “I was out with my friend Susan last night”. This is because they don’t want to question if they like you or not. It can be tempting to assume that your crush is being distant because they are playing hard to get, but if you constantly find yourself questioning their motives it probably means they aren’t looking for a relationship with you.
